Al Khayran the Semi-submersible vessel is the only tourist attraction of its kind in Oman and GCC area assigned to show the wonders of undersea world of the Sultanate of Oman. The trip offers a unique opportunity to explore Oman’s underwater scenery, experience close contact with nature and view the diverse marine life in its natural habitat.

Unlike conventional submarines, Al Khayran semi-submersible does not dive completely underwater but remains on the surface, allowing to explore sea life through large, clear glass windows while seating in a air-conditioned in a air-conditioned comfort two meters below the surface.

The trip starts from Marina Bandar Al Rowdha, where passengers embark on a fast transfer boat to undertake a half-hour trip to Bandar Al Khayran. On the way the boat passes the most picturesque sites of Omani coast line, the villages of Al Bustan, Qantab, Yiti, Shangri-La Hotel and Al Bustan Palace Hotel. There is good chance, depending on the season, of spotting dolphins on the way to Bandar Al Khayran.
